Gifts in Kind

Christmas Angels
The Christmas Angels Program runs during the month of December and provides special Christmas gifts for all the Homework House students. The gifts are then presented to the students at our annual Pajamas and Hot Chocolate Christmas Party. For many kids, this is the only Christmas gift they will receive.

Community Care
The Community Care Program is the way that the Homework House reaches out to our neighborhood familes with needed items, such as food, clothing, baby items, and various household items. The items also enable us to provide care packages for new mothers, as well as have garage sales throughout the year for our community fund. The community fun supports Homework House families in crisis.

Handy Helpers
If you are handy, then the Homework House needs you! Our Handy Helpers provide building and site maintenance for our three apartments. We often have little fix-it jobs here and there and really appreciate those with the skills and passion for this type of work.

Restocking The Store
The Restocking the Store Program is an opportunity to provide Homework House students with the school supplies they need on a weekly basis to be sucessful in school. Each week, students are rewarded for homework, as well as math and reading completion with Housebucks, an incentive program to keep them on task and motivated. The students are then able to shop at the Housebucks store, which is filled with school supplies as well as some fun items. We go through tons fo school supplies each week!

Timely Talent
The Timely Talent Program is for all those skilled professionals who are able to lend their services to our organization. Some examples of past donations are accounting services, computer repair services, business consulting, and image consuling for parents in our Programs. Let us know if you have an expertise that you think the Homework House could benefit from!
